P&I screenings will run from the 11 – 18 August 2026.
Industry tickets for public screening are via our website from 08:45 the day before each event. To book, log in to your online account via our website.
One complimentary ticket per screening can be booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Subject to availability.
Purchase tickets for all EIFF 2026 events at the Concession rate to guarantee your place at Festival screenings and events.
Our Festival Hub is at Central Hall in Tollcross, Edinburgh where you will find our Delegate Centre and Registrations Desk.
You will be able to collect your EIFF Pass from the Registrations Desk from Friday 14 August to Tuesday 18 August. Prior to this, you can collect your pass from the Cameo Cinema from Monday 10 August to Thursday 13 August.
At Central Hall, you can network with other Industry Delegates, Press and Filmmakers, and if you need any information or advice, you can ask an EIFF staff member or consult our information packs and guides.
The Delegate Centre is on the first floor of the Festival Hub, which is a comfortable, accessible space, which is open from 09:00-23:30. As an EIFF Passholder, you can come and go as you please. Occasionally events will run in this space which may be open to passholders or invite-only. We will publish this information in advance and on signage at the venue.

A Lunchtime Refreshments counter with PopConscious, will operate from 12-2 on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday during the Festival. The counter will be based inside the Delegate Centre, where you can purchase sandwiches, fresh fruit, snacks and juices, to fuel you between sessions.
Please collect your EIFF Pass from the EIFF Registrations Desk, located on the second floor of our Festival Hub at Central Hall (2 West Tollcross, Edinburgh, EH3 9BP).
If entering via the main entrance on West Tollcross, please proceed up the stairs to the main lobby on the second floor. Lift access is available via Dunbar Street and will take you directly to the main lobby.
Please remember to bring valid photo identification (e.g. passport or driving licence) and proof of concession when collecting your EIFF Pass.

With your EIFF Pass, you are entitled to access all Press & Industry screenings, as well as all industry events during the Festival. Please note EIFF Industry Networking Brunches and Drinks are open to all passholders. Our Industry talks and sessions are ticketed and you will be able to book complimentary industry tickets from 08:45 the day before the event.
Press & Industry screenings and events operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and access is subject to availability and capacity. Doors are open 15 minutes prior to the event/screening advertised start time. Please arrive early and make sure you have your EIFF Pass with you – this will be scanned for entry.
Please Note: all World Premieres are embargoed until one hour after the end of the first public screening. Do not post or publish reviews or information about the film until after this allotted time.

On-the-day complimentary delegate tickets for public screenings may be requested at the venue box office 30 minutes before the start of the screening, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets may also be purchased at a Delegate Concession rate, both via our website or at the venue box office.
Please note: the only way to guarantee access to a public screening/event would be to purchase a Delegate Concession ticket.
The centrepiece of Edinburgh International Film Festival is our two Competition strands.
The Sean Connery Prize for Feature Filmmaking Excellence sees 10 World Premiere feature films competing for a major cash prize of £50K, kindly supported by The Sean Connery Foundation.
The Thelma Schoonmaker Prize for Short Filmmaking Excellence sees 10 World Premiere short films competing for a cash prize of £15K.
The winners will be decided by audience vote cast by those attending the screenings using ballot papers, and will be announced as part of the EIFF Closing Gala on 19 August 2026.
