By Train
Waverley Station is a 7 minute walk from the Vue Omni. There is an accessible lift that takes you from the station itself to street level on Princes Street. Refer to National Rail for timetables and tickets.
By Bike
Vue Omni is located just off the National Cycle Network route 75. There are several bike parking locations nearby:
- Directly outside the main entrance to the Omni Building, next to the traffic lights at the top of Leith Street
- Beside the Sherlock Holmes statue next to Picardy Place tram stop

By Car
There is a taxi rank/ drop-off point directly outside the Omni centre, at the top of Leith Walk.
If you are coming by car and want to park within a car park, there is a 24/7 multi-storey car park within the Omni complex which leads directly into the centre. You’ll find plenty of accessible spaces for blue badge holders on each level.

A lift can be used to access the Leisure Building from the car park, and another lift is available once inside, to access the cinema itself.

Venue Accessibility
Physical Access to Vue Omni
Access to Edinburgh’s Omni Leisure building is level access and step free. Once inside, there are stairs, an escalator and a lift to access to the cinema itself. Vue Omni is located on the first floor.
Physical Access in Vue Omni
The screens are all located on one level. Screens are split into two corridors, just off from the main foyer.
Each screen has 2 wheelchair bays, both of which have step-free access. These are all found in the first row (Row A) of seating once inside the screens.
Most screens have two aisles, one on either side of the seats. Screens 6 and 7 have just one aisle, next to A1.
In most screening rooms, the distance between the front of one row of seats, and the back of another is roughly 90cm.
All seats are leather recliners with armrests in between. The armrests are solid leather blocks 14cm wide, with a seat base width of 52cm, and a backrest width of 52cm.
The bar and waiting area is also accessible via a platform lift.
Toilets
There are 3 wheelchair accessible toilets at Vue Omni. They can be found next to Screen 2, next to Screen 10, and in between Screen 11 and 12.
You do not require a key to use them.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in this venue.
London Road Gardens is very close by for the exercise of assistance dogs.
