Overview

Part of the

strand.

As a writer takes a train journey home at night, he is forced to confront the memory of events which led to his mother’s institutionalisation decades before.

This gorgeous black-and-white Welsh language film with music by renowned composer Gareth Glyn is inspired by the literary classic ‘Un Nos Ola Leuad’, performed by the Welsh National Opera Orchestra.

A unique blend of opera and cinema, this is a rich and beautifully performed exploration of the troubled creative mind.
