Edinburgh International Film Festival returns for its 79th edition from 13–19 August 2026.
With the Festival now just over two months away, we’re pleased to share some key dates for your diary as we prepare to unveil the full EIFF 2026 programme.
This year’s Festival will feature World Premieres, unforgettable retrospectives, innovative shorts and In Conversation events, celebrating EIFF as the Home of Independent Cinema in the UK.
