Travel Update: Due to an ongoing incident and road closure on Princes Street, Edinburgh Trams are currently operating a reduced service between Edinburgh Airport and West End only. If you’re travelling by tram, please plan your journey in advance using the Lothian Buses & Edinburgh Trams app and allow extra time to reach your screening or event.
Waverley Station is located in the heart of Edinburgh, with frequent direct rail services connecting the city to destinations across the UK. Services are operated by ScotRail, LNER, Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry and other rail providers.
Frequent ScotRail services run between Edinburgh and Glasgow throughout the day. During August, additional services, later trains and extra carriages are often introduced to help meet increased demand during the festival season.
