Miriam Garlo stars as Ángela, a deaf pottery artist, who has to find her own way through the difficulties of pregnancy and raising a daughter in a world that lacks support for the hearing-impaired. Tender, moving and brilliantly acted, Deaf is Eva Libertad’s feature debut, showcasing the director’s talent for capturing heartfelt, raw stories with an openness and humanity that is profoundly moving.
