Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) Industry and Press Accreditation

Industry Accreditation

Industry Accreditation is now open. Get set for an impactful series of panels and networking opportunities for Scottish and international creatives to engage with industry experts from around the world.

Our industry accreditation closes on Friday 2 August.

As we look to regrow our industry programme for future years, the number of accreditations we can approve is capped, and capacities for events are limited. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.

Who is our Industry Accreditation aimed at?

As we return with a revitalised EIFF, we welcome applications from people from a range of backgrounds and experiences – from those making their way into the screen industries, to people looking to support a new generation of talent.

Cost of Industry Accreditation

Standard: £80 (inclusive of VAT)

Concession: £65 (inclusive of VAT)

Our concession includes current students* across any discipline (aged 18+**), in addition to people who may be in receipt of benefits.

We reserve the right to ask for proof of concession when processing your application.

*If you are applying for Concession as a current student, please use your College / University email (e.g. using .ac.uk)

**You must be at least 18 years old prior to midnight on August 12 2024 to qualify for accreditation.

We will then seek to approve your application. If approved, you will receive a link to pay for your accreditation via Stripe.

You will also receive a link to our anonymous Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form when your application is approved.

Press Accreditation

Press Accreditation is now open, and closes on Friday 2 August.

Who is our Press Accreditation aimed at?

We welcome applications from people from a range of backgrounds and experiences – from emerging writers and journalists to those covering for media outlets.

Our press delegates gain access to our Press and Industry (P&I) screenings (13-20 August), taking in World Premieres, and selected UK Premieres across our programme.

Access to events in our industry programme may be limited due to our venue capacities.

The registration process

You can register with us via our form on FilmChief. There is no charge for Press Accreditation. When filling out your application, please apply for a ‘Standard accreditation’.

We will then seek to approve your application via our Press team, Premier Scotland.

You will also receive a link to our anonymous Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form when your application is approved.
